Call of Duty Advanced Warfare (3)

Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been eliciting far more positive reactions than you would expect from a Call of Duty title. This could be due to the relatively intriguing approach to weapons, combat and movement that the studio is taking. The single-player already looks enticing enough thanks to the addition of none other than Kevin Spacey is the main antagonist Jonathan Irons.

But what about the multiplayer? It seems we’ll be finding out sooner rather than later as a recent Major League Gaming broadcast revealed that the game’s multiplayer will be playable at Gamescom, taking place in Cologne, Germany this August.

Presenter Chris Puckett stated that, “The gameplay is much more fluid and much faster than any of the Call of Dutys I’ve played up to this point. On top of that, it’s safe to say that this new title puts more emphasis on skill than any of the Call of Dutys I’ve played before this.”

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be out this November for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U.
