On Xbox One and Xbox 360 first, of course.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Sledgehammer Games has announced the addition of a brand new weapon to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. This weapon is the M1 Irons, a pistol which offers a good amount of range and also causes quite a bit of damage. Check it out above.

The M1 Irons is meant as a gift to players and will be available for free starting today. It will be available in ten variants – such as Gunslinger, Sundown and Unforgiving Truth – which you obtain at random from Supply Drops and Advanced Supply Drops. Unfortunately, as is usually the case for Call of Duty content, the Xbox One and Xbox 360 will receive the M1 Irons first followed by PC, PS3 and PS4 at a latter date.

Fortunately, Advanced Warfare users on other platforms won’t lack things to do – the Ascendance DLC recently launched on PS3, PS4 and PC, bringing a new weapon, a new Exo Zombies campaign mission, four multiplayer maps and the new Exo Grapple playlist.
