Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Video Details Supply Drops

Earn more powerful weapons or items like the Goliath for combat.

Sledgehammer Games is going out of its way to really set Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare apart from its predecessors. Along with a new movement system and skills, one of the bigger changes is the ability to completely customize your character and the weapons you use. To this effect, the game has taken a very MMO-like quality and a new video detailing Supply Drops only further cements that.

What are Supply Drops? They’re essentially packs containing items, weapons, armour, etc. that you can earn while playing. While we foresee issues in the coming days regarding buys packs with real money (did we mention they give you more powerful weapons?), it’s an interesting and novel new addition to the franchise. Supply Drops also net you one time items for use like the Goliath Mech which you can use to wreck shop during combat.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is out on November 4th and so far, it’s actually worth looking forward to. Stay tuned for more details.
