Tons of information about the hottest game of the year.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 has just a few weeks to go before it launches and brand new information is still pouring in. Just goes to show how much effort Treyarch have put in to the game. Today we bring you new information regarding guns in the multiplayer component of the game.

Black Ops 2 Multiplayer guns: MP7, SCAR, Crossbow and more

As you can see from the video above, we have several weapons available like the popular SCAR rifle which was also present in several previous iterations. Unfortunately in Black Ops 2 the SCAR may not be effective as it used to be compared to some of the other assualt rifles in the game.

The Crossbow hold three sets of bows and is much more faster and accurate compared to ones we found in Black Ops 1. It will also support attachments and you can put camouflages on the Crossbow itself. The M27 will have medium recoil and damage and is supposedly an equivalent of M4 from Black Ops 1. MP7 is just not the same gun compared to one in Modern Warfare 3 and is perhaps next to the SCAR as the weakest gun in the game. The Sniper Rifles will now leave a trace of white line in case you missed your shot. This will help your team mates to track down what enemies you were trying to take out.

In another news, John Rafacz, director of communications has revealed some new information about the Zombie mode.  There will be new weapons and characters specifically for the Zombies mode, he revealed to Examiner.

“Going back to other installments, zombies was just survival, but with Black Ops II, this is the biggest world ever created for Zombie mode. We’ve even brought new characters and weapons just for the mode.”

“The objective to Last Man Standing is to be the last person alive. In the mode, the grieving tool will cast the attention of the zombies toward the other team and that will make their lives much more difficult.”

We will see how all of this churns on November 13th, the launch day for Call of Duty Black Ops 2.
