Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Multiplayer: Key Info You May Have Missed

Posted By | On 12th, Aug. 2012

Activision recently released a new multiplayer trailer for Black Ops 2, and for many, that kind of made the wait unbearable. We do not have official details yet on any of the new features, but here’s what’s confirmed based on the trailer.

It’s not often that you go into a trailer not expecting much and it totally surprises you with things and completely changes your opinion on something. For me, this trailer did the same, and it’s certain that now I’m going to get the game day 1. The visuals seem overhauled, and there are a lot of new and returning features like: Diving, remote controlled drone, tomahawk, Kamikaze drones, Stun knives, and much more.

One of the new killstreaks in the game is the inclusion of Lightning Strike, which shows a bright flash of light on the map. There’s a new interesting gadget named Active Denial System, which emits microwaves rendering whoever caught in it useless by slowing them down.

Check out the multiplayer trailer below and a fast dissection of the same.

  • You can now select between different burst fire modes
  • New attachment called Hybrid Optic
  • Dolphin Diving, yay!
  • Extensive customization of emblems
  • Plenty of new killstreaks
  • Microwave emitting gadget spotted
  • They’ve re-added quick scopes
  • Attack Dogs are back
  • You can spot laser sights.
  • Apparently you can call suicidal drones
  • Riot shields can be planted in the ground, Gears of War style
  • Reflex sight is back as well
