Call of Duty Black Ops 3

Treyarch has long made it known that when they started working on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 they were aiming to make a game that would mostly be geared towards the PS4 and the Xbox One. Despite that, the company is actually producing a copy of the game for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, though the company just shed some light on those versions and they will be definitely be a paired down version of the game.

The company announced on its official site that Black Ops 3 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 will feature Multiplayer and Zombies gameplay only, not Campaign. The firm said that despite the fact that this is a paired down version, they will still have features in the multiplayer mode such as the new momentum-based, chain-movement system, as well as the all-new Specialist class of 9 Black Ops soldiers. This means that there will be plenty of new features in the last generation version including a different kind of zombie mode.

The zombie mode for the Xbox 360 and PS3 version is called “Shadows of Evil,” and is a hat tip to 1940’s film noire. Treyarch says that this is a rather original approach to the zombies mode that isn’t even offered when it comes to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. As another way to sweeten the pot for those who haven’t yet managed to purchase current generation consoles, the firm says it is going to be offering the ability to download for the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 launches on November 6, 2015.
