Trusted industry insider shinobi602 who seemingly lives in the very heart of gaming information has once again dropped some metaphorical bombs surrounding the possibility of some upcoming Call of Duty information. Recently, a Twitter user faked a poster that hinted at a May 4th 2015 announcement date for Call of Duty World at War 2.
This was however debunked by Shinobi602 who stated that “it’s not happening.” But is the next Call of Duty set in World War 2? shinobi602 simply replied “No.” Probed further still regarding the games setting, be it past or present or if there was anything that could be revealed, Shinobi602 replied with “Just remember what Treyarch’s big games are :)”.
Does this mean that we’re going to be seeing a Call of Duty Black Ops 3? Who knows, only time will tell. As usual, any information from industry insiders should be taken with a grain of salt, however tt will be interesting to see where the developers take the next Call of Duty to, especially after the sci-fi setting of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. This should be real entertaining since it's not happening RT @AnonymousUK2015 "More info regarding Call of Duty: World at War 2 coming soon"
