Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 got a new patch for both the PS4 and Xbox One earlier this week. The new patch, labeled 1.06 brings a number of fixes and tweaks to a game that has been out for quite a while now but remains quite popular among the gaming community. This new patch comes quite quickly after patch 1.05 was released for the PS4 which brought a number of DLC support tweaks. It appears as if Treyarch was far from finished with the tweaks from just a week ago, though it’s a bit surprising that a new patch would be launched so soon after the last one.

It probably isn’t a coincidence that these patches are being launched right after the game’s first DLC launched. The game has been getting a number of tweaks since the new content was dropped. This new patch, 1.06 was launched for both the Xbox One and PS4 and both versions seem to have a size of about 1GB. Among the things that have been fixed with this new patch is the added support for the Tactical Mode “auto-on” feature.

When it comes to the zombie mode for the game, the company has said it has done a bit of weapon balancing as well as tweaking things like the visibility of the Lil’ Arnie bottles. For those who have the PS4 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, they can check out the full patch notes here. Those with the Xbox One version can check out the patch notes here.
