Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 – Return of the Pick 10 System?

Treyarch at hinting at important announcements in the near future.

Not much is known about Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 now, other than a bunch of rumours circling the internet, but as per a new update on Twitter, Treyarch might be hinting at the return of a popular mechanic from their earlier games in the upcoming shooter. The developer has put up a tweet alongside an image that shows the numbers “10/10”, as well as symbols that are very much reminiscent of the Pick 10 system from their earlier games in the series.

The Pick 10 system is one that has been often well received by fans, thanks to the amount of control and customizability it gives to players over what kind of a character they want to play with. Treyarch have also mentioned in the tweet that they will be talking more about the upcoming shooter on May 17, so we might hear more about whether or not Pick 10 will be in the game then- right now, it looks very much like it will, though.

There have been a ton of rumours going around about the game. Recently, we heard that it might not have a single player campaign at all, and that the focus instead would be on a battle royale mode being developed by Raven. There were also reports that in early stages of development, Treyarch wanted to model the multiplayer after Overwatch’s hero shooter approach, but the idea was eventually scrapped. Finally, we might also be getting a battle royale exclusive Call of Duty title on the Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned to GamingBolt and we’ll keep bringing you more updates as they come our way.
