Call of Duty: Black Ops- Hardened and Prestige Editions

Posted By | On 30th, Jul. 2010

Online retailers Buy.com have revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released in Hardened and Special Editions in the US.

The contents of the two special editions have not yet been detailed, the Hardened Edition will cost you $79.99 and the Prestige Edition will cost you $149.99

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released last year with these very same Hardened and PRestige Editions. The Hardened Edition came with a tin boxing, art book, and a redemption code for Infinity Ward’s XBLA downloadable Call of Duty game, Call of Duty Classic, while the Prestige Edition came with a pair of real, authentic night vision goggles.

Here’s hoping Black Ops, Hardened and Prestige will have as strangely wonderful contents as well.

When Activision was asked about these new unofficially announced special editons, all they had to say was this: “we haven’t made any announcements to date.”

We’ll keep you posted as more news comes.
