8. Players can now slide

Call of Duty has always been a fast-paced game, even back in the World War II era of the series. The fact that the ability to slide into cover didn’t actually make it into the franchise until now is actually kind of surprising. Sliding to cover can really change close quarters fighting. This combined with the new feature to lean certainly is going to change the dynamic of the game.

It’s a bit of a departure from older CoD titles, but in a good direction. Hopefully we’ll see some more intense melee fighting and more cover-based tactics from Ghosts. Adding features like this is going to give gamers more tools to choose from, so to speak and having options is always a good thing.
