Call of Duty: Ghosts Campaign Trailer Takes Us to Space

Cue "Madness is a bit like gravity" jokes.

What more can we say? After years of playing to the same military shooter trapping, Infinity Ward’s new trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts reveals a bit of the single-player campaign and goes where none of the franchise’s iterations have gone before. Check it out above.

The question now is, with all the changes that Ghosts is seemingly making, will the game be able to break the mold and become a better experience than previous titles as a result? Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 tried several new things out, but it just didn’t form a cohesive whole. Worse, it’s easily the weakest entry in the entire series to date.

Infinity Ward has a significantly better handle on the franchise however, so by the time Call of Duty: Ghosts launches on November 5 for PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 (not to mention launching with the PS4 on November 15th in North America and on November 22nd for the Xbox One worldwide), we’ll get to know just how giant a leap this is for fans.
