Infinity Ward has confirmed that the Extinction mode in Call of Duty Ghosts will be receiving new updates soon. During the Extinction live stream the developers of Call of Duty Ghosts revealed that player customization is incoming. But when exactly? They did not specified the date.

However, Infinity Ward did revealed that it will be similar to the Create A Soldier found in the multiplayer component of the game. For the first time ever in the Call of Duty series, the Extinction mode brings aliens wherein four players can fight off against hordes of these unknown species.

The game has seen its share of controversies regarding the next gen resolutiongate. The game runs at 720p on the Xbox One and 1080p on the PlayStation 4. We recently did an interview with Infinity Ward that explains the reasons behind the drop in resolution for the Xbox One version.

Furthermore you can read our review of the game here. Call of Duty Ghosts is now available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U.
