Some one call the Men in Black.

Aliens. Aliens everywhere. That’s the best way to describe the Extinction Mode in Call of Duty: Ghosts, which was leaked earlier today via Instagram. Infinity Ward has released the first official trailer for the mode and along with the purpose of the mode, reveals a good number of interesting mechanics.

We can see the four classes in action for Extinction, and the mode seems to mirror Gears of War: Judgment’s Survival mode except if you’re on the opposing side. You’ll need to drill your way through alien hives and hold off swarms of enemies at the same time. Automated turrents, drones, fire walls, electrified fences, gatling guns, air strikes and much more will help you achieve this objective but what they lack in firepower, the aliens make up for in size and numbers.

Call of Duty: Ghosts launches on November 5th for current-gen consoles, with next gen versions due shortly after.
