It’s official. Call of Duty: Ghosts exists. Whether it will be using the “next generation Call of Duty engine” or not that has been indicated across online retailer listings in the past few weeks remains to be seen. For now though, Activision and Infinity Ward have opened a Facebook page for the game and posted some images to hype it.

The key image is of course the one seen above, with the simple message saying “The ghosts are real” along with skull shaped graffiti that of course reminds one of Ghost’s mask from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

For now, rumours are that the game will be releasing on November 5th 2013, and will focus on the side-character Ghost – or at least some one who has now assumed his mask and identity. The first person shooter will reportedly feature a new story and characters along with a new setting. More details when we have them.
