Raven Software is adding a ton of new features to the multiplayer portion of Call of Duty: Ghosts. Along with new killstreaks, perks, maps and a brand new character customization mode, there is all the aspect of Squads. A new trailer has been released detailing exactly what Squads are meant for.

Essentially, Squads allows you to take your custom squad-mates into multiplayer against another player and their own squad across a variety of game modes. Think of it as team versus team play, except only one member of each team is human while the rest are AI controlled. You can also play cooperatively with friends against a squad made of AI-controlled solders. Any XP earned will go towards your multiplayer progress.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to release on PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 on November 5th worldwide. The PS4 version releases on November 15th in North America and November 29th in Europe, while the Xbox One version arrives on November 22nd.
