Infinity Ward has finally confirmed that the Onslaught DLC pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts will be releasing on January 28th. The confirmation also comes with a new teaser on Instagram, which you can check out here.

Onslaught appears significantly different from anything we’ve seen thus far from Infinity Ward. The teaser showcases the player running from one location to another brandishing an axe from music from the movie Halloween plays and various creepy locales are showcased. The message for the teaser reads, “Something menacing is coming Jan. 28. Get ready for the Onslaught.”

Perhaps a return to the Zombies mode, which was last seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and subsequently replaced by Extinction in Ghosts? We’ll have to wait and see as usual but this is looking far more promising than the DLC that lets you turn your dog killstreak into a wolf killstreak. Thoughts? Let us know below.
