Call of Duty: Ghosts to Feature Soap MacTavish as DLC Character?

A recent image from Infinity Ward could suggest the same.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare characters have been appearing out of the woodwork for Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Ghosts, with Zakhaev, Makarov and Price featuring as downloadable characters for the multiplayer mode. It now seems that Soap MacTavish will be joining them if a recent image tweeted by the developer is any indication.

The image itself is indicative of Soap’s fate in Modern Warfare 3 (spoiler: he didn’t live) and while it could indicate a million different things – such as his return as a killer cyborg in Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 – a downloadable character skin for Ghosts’ multiplayer seems far more likely. This would of course include a corresponding weapon camo, reticule, etc.

What are your thoughts on Soap being brought back from the grave for Call of Duty: Ghosts’ multiplayer? Who will be next? Is any one safe? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
