Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Free Play Event Starts December 15th

Only for consoles. Ends December 20th.

Activision’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare may not have done all that great in US physical sales compared to last year’s Black Ops 3 but it’s still receiving plenty of attention from Infinity Ward and its parent company. A free play event has been announced for PS4 and Xbox One, starting on December 15th, 10 AM PST and ending on December 20th.

Though all three modes – Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies in Spaceland – will be available, there will be restrictions. Only the first two story missions are available, multiplayer has a level cap of 15 and you can only hit level 3 in Zombies. It’s also worth noting that PlayStation Plus is required for multiplayer and Zombies on PS4 while Xbox Live Gold is required for the entire free trial.

If you choose to purchase Infinite Warfare, then you can transfer your progress over into the full game. Keep in mind that this is the full 60 GB game being offered in trial form so you won’t have to download any additional data either.
