Activision announced at Sony’s PlayStation Meeting today that their upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered will both support the PS4 Pro- delivering, in their words, ‘4K textures on top of their standard 60fps gameplay,’ which I am not quite sure how they plan to achieve. Maybe via upscaling?

Activision also confirmed that last year’s Black Ops 3 will also be supporting the Pro on day one, via an online update that will add PS4 Pro functionality to the title. This means that all currently supported Call of Duty games will be playable with PS4 Pro enhancements.

Sony did confirm that their development partners are ‘being asked to consider how they plan to support the PS4 Pro’ with each game going forward, meaning that the reports that said that each PS4 game from October will need a ‘NEO’ mode were probably accurate.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will launch this November on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
