Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be bringing the Zombies mode back, becoming the first Infinity Ward developed Call of Duty game to do so. And it’s a good thing, too, considering that Zombies may just be the best thing about Call of Duty at the moment. It also sounds like Infinity Ward are going to make up for all the times previously that they haven’t included Zombies, because Zombies in Spaceland sounds crazy.

In a recent interview with Resero, Infinity Ward detailed some of the weaponry in this mode. It sounds gleefully over the top, which is just as well, because what is Zombies if not a chance to be over the top?

‘Well, there’s a lot of crazy stuff we haven’t shown yet, but stuff that’s in the trailer that you get to see… we have a lot of cool weaponry. Things that you won’t find in the campaign or multiplayer. So to give you an example, we have Spaceland Zapper, called a Face Melter. It’s a quest item, you have to find it and assemble it, and when you do, and you shoot a zombie with it, they turn into a rocket, blast off, and explode into fireworks above the player,’ they said.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be out on November 5 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
