Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will apparently have a high amount of value when it releases later this year. Speaking to Forbes, Call of Duty executive VP Robert Kostich noted that the game itself along with the release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered will offer value that’s unprecedented for the series.
“From an overall offering, an overall value proposition, I think what we’re giving to the community this year is frankly unprecedented in Call of Duty history.”
He also noted that the timing for a remaster was “perfect” with Infinity Ward developing this year’s title. “We thought it would be a perfect opportunity to celebrate Call of Duty and the community, where we’re going and where we’ve been and bring it together in one package.”
Of course, you can’t purchase Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered separately. It’s only yours if you buy the Legacy Edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for $80. While the 2016 offering will have Zombies, multiplayer and a campaign, we’ll wait till November 4th before judging its value.
