Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – Season 1 Roadmap and Launch Trailer Released

Four new multiplayer maps and the return of Gunfight kick off the season on December 6th, with new modes and Ranked Play coming later.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 - Gunfight

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – Season 1 begins December 6th and adds a new Battle Pass, Aftermarket Parts (including a flamethrower), multiplayer maps and more. Check out the trailer below to see the new content in action.

There are three new Core 6v6 maps – Meat, Greece and Rio – and a new 2v2 map for the returning Gunfight. In addition to Training Facility, maps like Alley, Blacksite, Exhibit and Shipment from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have carried over to the sequel. New modes include All or Nothing, which starts you with Throwing Knives and no ammo, with kills netting ammo for your weapon.

In the middle of the season, the new limited-time mode Vortex is available, focused on controlling the Ray Gun, a one-shot kill weapon from Zombies. CODMAS: Santa’s Slayground, Infected, Headquarters and Team Gunfight are also coming along with Ranked Play. Head here for more details.
