Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is so close, you can almost taste it. Well, and you can play it, as there’s a beta. PlayStation 4 users got a bit of early access to it, which seemed to be received positively (or well… most of it anyway), and now it’s time for Xbox One and PC players to get in on the action- and Activision hopes to get you hyped up for it.

Cross-play has been a big marketing point for this year’s Call of Duty installment. Starting September 19th, those who pre-ordered can get early access to the cross-play beta, and we’ll finally be able to test out how this all works. Activision also released a little teaser to get your blood flowing about it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare releases on October 25th. The cross-play beta will be available to those who pre-ordered on the 19th, with it being open to all starting on the 20th. It will run until the 23rd. We should also be getting information on the game’s campaign at some point this month, so keep your eyes open.
