Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Receives New Ground War Map, Infected Mode

A new update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has rolled out another map for Season One. Aniyah Palace is part of the Ground War playlist. Unlike its original 10v10 version, this is the full-scale map available for 20v20 battles. Infected Mode has also been added, replacing Reinforce mode.

Infected should be familiar to Halo fans – it involves a single player on one team and everyone else on the other team. Anyone who dies by the single player’s hands joins the Infected. The game ends when everyone is infected but the Survivors can win if there’s still someone left standing.

Last but not least is Gunfight: OSP. This is a version of Gunfight which involves actually picking up weapons on the map instead of starting with anything. The downside is that it’s in place of normal Gunfight so we’ll see how this is received. Hardcore playlists for Shoot House 24/7 and NVG Moshpit have also been added.
