Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has come out and satisfied a lot fans of the longstanding shooter franchise, as evident from the game’s great sales as well as the critical acclaim it received. There were big changes afoot, however, as it was announced early on that the game would drop the season pass model, something the series had even long after it went out of style for multiplayer titles, with something more akin to a battle pass system. Well, we now know when that’ll be out and what it looks like.
As announced via the official Twitter, the first season for the game will include new multiplayer maps, including new maps for the very popular new Gunfight mode, new weapons, new modes and new Spec Ops. All the content will be free, though it’s not clear if you will have to unlock some things or if it will be given to everyone outright.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The first season will begin starting December 3rd across all platforms.
