Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been out and about for a while, receiving new maps and new modes along with balance patches. So why not an accolades trailer as well? Check it out below to see what a variety of publications have said about the first person shooter.
We were a little more critical of the game in our review but overall, it’s still a huge success. Activision announced that it had garnered $600 million in revenue within just three days. There have been criticisms, especially regarding the potency of the 725 Shotgun and how loud footsteps are, but Infinity Ward has been looking into it since launch.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be receiving even more content in December. The first Battle Pass will release, offering free and paid tracks for consumers to earn cosmetics. Will this be enough to sustain interest heading into the new year? We’ll have to wait and see so stay tuned for more updates.
