Like with many other franchises, Loot Crate has announced that it will create a special edition dropbox for Call of Duty: WW2. It will essentially be a “mystery crate” which contains various themed items like gear, apparel and other collectibles which fans can’t find anywhere else.
The crate will cost $50 with shipping and handling and releases in December, roughly a month after the game’s launch. Keep in mind that what’s actually in the crate hasn’t been revealed. International pricing is also up in the air.
Call of Duty: WW2 will release on November 3rd for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. A private beta will be taking place on August 25th to 28th for PS4 and then on September 1st to 4th for Xbox One and PS4.
Pre-ordering a copy will earn you access to the private beta. Maps include Pointe Du Hoc, Ardennes and Gibraltar with three game modes – Team Deathmatch, Domination and Hardpoint. War mode will also be included with one operation available for players to try out.
