Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: WW2 has made some rather nice changes for fans of the Gun Game and Prop Hunt modes. Though meant as time-limited modes, these will now be permanently available in multiplayer going forward. You can find them in the “Featured” playlist tab when accessing the multiplayer menu.

Gun Game starts players off with a pistol and changes your weapon every time you score a kill. If you’re killed with a melee, you go back to the previous weapon. The first player to reach the last weapon in the line wins. In order to address players being AFK in Gun Game, you’ll now be booted from the game if you deal no damage for five minutes.

As for Prop Hunt, it’s a mode that sees one team hiding as different map objects like barrels and sandbags. The other team has to find them before the timer runs out. What are your thoughts on the modes being a permanent addition to Call of Duty: WW2? Let us know below.
