Capcom confirms Dragon’s Dogma for the PC and then retracts its statements

Capcom sure knows how to break its fans' hearts.

Dragon’s Dogma was a beautiful experience. Its fantasy setting sucked the player into its world like no other, resulting in an amazing experience. Personally, I would have loved to see it on the PC, given the fantasy setting it had. I believe many of my fellow PC gamers will agree so.

Earlier today, the game’s publisher Capcom tweeted to a fan’s response about the PC version of Dragon’s Dogma. And much to my surprise Capcom tweeted back, confirming that PC version is indeed coming. Capcom UK simply replied  ‘its coming’. Unfortunately, a few moments later the tweet was removed.

Later, Capcom  confirmed that there is no PC version of game planned (heart breaks). “Sorry for the false alarm folks, no Dragon’s Dogma on the PC anytime soon :(,” they said on Twitter.

But the teasing did not stop there. A frustrated fan called Capcom evil to which they teased that it would have been nice if there was a PC version under development.

It will be interesting to see whether Capcom is working on the PC version. At the moment there is no information about it, its expansion/DLC or whether it will be distributed through Steam. But if you ask me, there is surely one, somewhere in Capcom’s secret laboratory.
