Capcom Confirms Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Is Not Coming To Wii U

'It was a misprint.'

Monster Hunter 4

Man, Capcom is the king of misprints, isn’t it? Their latest one included a banner for their upcoming, highly anticipated Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, which showed the Wii U logo on it, immediately prompting speculation that the game, much like the two Monster Hunter games before it (Monster Hunter 3 and Minster Hunter 3 Ultimate) would indeed be coming to Nintendo’s home console.

However, it seems that all of that speculation was just a lot of smoke without any fire, as Capcom has confirmed that the banner was in fact, another misprint in a long line of misprints by the company, shattering hopes that the game will actually be coming to Nintendo’s Wii U home console.

‘It’s a misprint. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is still 3DS only,’ said Capcom’s Yuri Araujo in response to an email sent by a fan.

Ah well. I mean, if you want, you can still hold out in the hopes that it will eventually be ported, but honestly, considering that the 3DS version already has online play this time (as well as New 3DS enhancements) I highly doubt that a Wii U version is even necessary, as much as some console fans might like it. Sorry, guys.
