Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate, the game that is cool enough to have two subtitles in its title, is getting an HD port on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 over XBLA and PSN Store. For those of you who were interested in the game, which acts as a midquel between Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, David Cox’s Twitter just confirmed that the HD port has ‘gone gold,’ meaning all development and QA for the title is now complete.
In related news, the development on the demo for the upcoming Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is also now complete. Lords of Shadow 2 completes the Lords of Shadow story arc for the Castlevania series (meaning traditionalists can rejoice: there may yet be a chance for classic Castlevania to make a triumphant return).
