It seems like CD Projekt RED, the developer of the beloved The Witcher 3, as well as the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, is looking to hire a new person who will work as their American facing PR person, per a job listing they advertised on Twitter today. CD Projekt RED specifies Gwent: The Witcher Card Game and Cyberpunk 2077 as the games that that this applicant will end up coordinating communications for.

While the CD Projekt RED and GOG Twitter accounts have both gotten into hot water recently thanks to their objectionable tweets of transphobic content, this does not appear to be a listing in response to that. The listing specifically references press packs, presentations, branding, but no social media work, implying that this is not a role that involves social media messaging or representation of any nature.

As far as this listing goes, it seems like Cyberpunk 2077 may be nearing completion, if they are hiring a PR specialist for it. Meanwhile, I also hope that they will address their social media problems. If you’re interested in learning more about Cyberpunk 2077, you may be interested to know that CD Projekt RED are aiming for Red Dead Redemption 2 levels of polish for the game.
