Warner Bros. and Techland show off 11 minutes of their survival game.

The interesting looking open world survival action game, Dying Light, has finally gotten twelve minutes of sweet gameplay footage, and it looks like it is coming along pretty well.

For those not in the know, Dying Light is a survival game published by Warner Bros and developed by Techland, the guys behind Dead Island; in this open world game, players have to survive in a city beset by some sort of biological plague. There are safe zones where people have all retreated to, and everything between those safe zones is the equivalent of ruined urban wilderness. It also has a full day and night cycle; the above gameplay footage shows us the day time gameplay.

Dying Light is due next year on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. It will not be coming to the Wii U, Warner Bros. confirmed when they announced the game.

Stay tuned for more coverage.
