The second season of Guild Wars 2’s ongoing ‘Living World’ storyline is due to start on July 1 (the first season ended earlier this year), and we have a new trailer showing off just what we can expect to happen this time around. And it does look like there are some rather momentous things in store.
Two things seem to be important here- the Sky Pirates are getting attacked, and there seems to be some sort of trouble brewing in the western part of the Brisban Wildlands- so it looks like there’s enough hooks to get the story moving. Where it goes from there, of course, is anybody’s guess.
Guild Wars 2 is ArenaNet and NCSoft’s MMORPG. The purchase based, no subscription fee MMO was a revolution, and it shook up the genre in multiple ways, from expected business models to how developers approach the content and mechanics in their games as well.
