Overkill's The Walking Dead

After finding success with Telltale, Overkill hopes to make The Walking Dead walk again with their highly anticipated take on the franchise. The Payday series developers showed an exclusive behind the scenes look at the game which we’re now sharing with you.

As opposed to past video game adaptions, or at least the ones that people remember fondly, Overkill’s The Walking Dead is a four player co-operative multiplayer shooter, which takes somewhat from titles like Borderlands or Destiny. Different playable characters will all have their own skill tree to climb, abilities to master and play styles. In line with the series, it’s up to players to cooperate for the good of their camp, and there’s said to be backstories to all the playable characters.

Check out the video located just below the story. Overkill’s The Walking Dead is expected to launch sometime this year on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Are you going to check the game out? Let us know in the comments below.
