Sacred 3 is a new hack and slash action game coming out on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this August, and publisher Deep Silver has released a new CGI trailer to hype us up for the upcoming game.

This new trailer shows off the kind of co-operative mayhem and competition that is normally reserved for Nintendo fare like The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords or New Super Mario Bros. It shows off the competitive, co-op gameplay and the humor that fans of the Sacred franchise expect. Gamers will enjoy fighting back the hordes of the evil Emperor Zane while competing with friends to prove who is Ancaria’s greatest champion.

So yeah, the game looks pretty damn fun, especially if you’re a fan of the franchise, and it seems like it might provide players with some quality fare in a summer that has otherwise been unusually starved for quality content. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage of this, and other upcoming games.
