The Farm 51’s survival horror RPG Chernobylite has looked like an exciting prospect since they first started talking about it, and from its Kickstarter campaign to its early access launch on Steam, the game’s gone through some pretty major milestones over the last couple of years. Reception for its early access version has also been quite positive, and soon, the game will also be launching in full.

The Farm 51 and publisher All in! Games have confirmed that Chernobylite will be releasing in full for PS4, Xbox One, and PC this June, though an exact release date within the month is yet to be confirmed. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game are also confirmed, of course, and those will be arriving later in the year- but again, specific release dates for the next-gen versions are currently unknown.

Chernobylite takes place, as its name suggests, in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. The game features a heavy emphasis o RPG mechanics such as crafting, customization, and a non-linear story with choice and consequence mechanics, and an equally heavy emphasis on horror and survival elements as you scavenge the radioactive wasteland to ensure your survival.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more details on Chernobylite in the coming weeks.
