To Lemuria.

Ubisoft’s fantastical 2D platformer RPG Child of Light is now available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Wii U and PC, currently retailing for £11.99. The Deluxe Edition is also available at retail for the PS3, PS4 and PC and includes many extra additions like a 24 page artbook, an Igniculus key ring, additional content such as a bonus quest and a new character, and a posted by artist Yoshitaka Amano.

Child of Light blends poetry with paintings (lovingly rendered with the UbiArt Framework engine) as you take control of Aurora, who has fallen into a deep sleep, and explore the world of Lemuria. You’re tasked with retrieving the Sun, Moon and the Stars from the Black Queen to ultimately return home to the Duke. The RPG elements harken back to the classic Japanese role playing games of old and based on what we’ve played thus far, Child of Light is perhaps one of the best games of this year.
