Firaxis Games’ Civilization 6 has managed to cross more than one million players since its release on October 21st.

The fact was revealed on the official Twitter account as the dev team thanks its fans. “THANK YOU to our more than ONE MILLION Civilization 6 players. Your support means everything to us. Stay civilized!”

A quick look over at Steam also shows that Civilization 6 is the fifth most played game today with 36,002 players on currently and a peak of 83,516 players today. That’s pretty good when compared to big-name games like The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition and peak concurrent players actually managed to surpass Team Fortress 2.

Though there have been issues cited with the game’s overall balance, not to mention the usual bugs and design decisions, but as a whole Civilization 6 is considered yet another success in the hallowed franchise. What are your thoughts on the 4X title? Let us know in the comments below.
