Firaxis Games’ Civilization VI is receiving a new expansion called Rise and Fall on February 8th 2018. The obvious attempt with this expansion is to strengthen the end-game for the 4X title and keep players invested. Check out the trailer below to see some of the new stuff that’s coming.
To sum it up, there will be Great Ages where your civilization will either enter the Dark Ages or the Golden Ages. There are different challenges and bonuses provided by both but rising above a Dark Age will ensure a better Golden Age, thus turning it into a Heroic Age. Cities will have individual Loyalty to leaders and it’s possible to lose a city if their Loyalty is low.
Then there’s the enhanced alliances system, Emergencies for civilizations to band together and battle an overpowered civilization, the Timeline to look back on your various accomplishments and much more. You can also expect nine new leaders and eight new civilizations, eight new world wonders, seven natural wonders and fourteen new buildings. Thoughts on all of this content? Let us know below.
