Ubisoft’s upcoming open world, persistently online, dynamic racer, The Crew, will be entering a closed beta starting next week, September 30, on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. If you are interested in getting a piece of that action, you can sign up at the game’s website today for a shot. Be warned, though, you will need a Uplay account to be eligible.

The closed beta was already held on PC earlier, and if it is anything like that, it will allow players to drive through the entirety of the United States, and with no loading screens. It was a fairly good taste of what we can expect from the final product, although of course, Ubisoft hastens to remind us that the beta is not indicative of the final game, and that there will be many changes introduced to the game ahead of its launch on November 11.

No word yet on if The Crew will also be receiving a beta on the Xbox 360, but you know what, we’ll keep you posted.
