Code Vein Hellfire Knight DLC Launches Tomorrow

The DLC brings a host of new content.

Code Vein

Code Vein was one of 2019’s biggest and most pleasant surprises. The Souls-like action RPG had a distinct anime style in its art direction, as well as a focus on other unique elements that the genre isn’t always known for, such as its companion characters (you can read our take on the game through here). The journey isn’t quite done yet, though, as DLC will be flowing out slowly throughout the year. And now we know when the first of those packs will be coming, with Hellfire Knight.

Via the Microsoft Store, we got a look at the first DLC for the game. It seems this will add new areas to The Depths, the winding and challenging catacombs you traverse when you aren’t going through the main story. It will also include new weapons, Blood Veils, and blood codes that you will obtain through these new difficult areas. It is included in the season pass and the deluxe edition release of the game. As of now, it seems the content can’t be purchased separately.

Code Vein is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Hellfire Knight will launch on January 29th. As of now, there’s no word on what the other post-launch content will be.
