After being delayed from last year till 2019, laying low, and then emerging with a network test, Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Code Vein has finally received a release date. It’s out on September 27th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Check out the announcement trailer below.

The game takes place in a nightmarish world where death lurks around every corner. Players have the ability to create a character and choose a partner, the latter having their own story and combat style. It’s possible to use many different classes, mix different skills together, and change partners throughout the experience. And of course, it’s possible to use Blood Veils, draining enemies of their vitality to power abilities.

Using the right tactics and coordinating with your partner and unleashing powerful Blood Veil attacks and weapon skills are key to surviving in Code Vein. The combat is an intriguing mix of God Eater and Dark Souls, and we can’t wait to finally get our hands on it. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months (hopefully there are no further delays).
