I won't believe anyone who said they saw this one coming

Over the last couple of years, THQ Nordic has slowly bought the rights to several classic (or cult classic, if you will) game IPs. There’s a lot under their belt that you expect to eventually come back in some way from Timesplitters to Red Faction. What you didn’t see coming was the return of the helicopter sim Comanche, and if you say you did, you’re lying.

What might qualify as the most random return ever, the new game is a reboot of sorts of the simulator series that saw a few games in the early to mid 1990s. There was little said about the game outside the Gamescom trailer which promises a lot of intense dogfights and multiplayer action. But hey, there’s something for everyone and those itching for a good helicopter simulator could be in for a treat.

Comanche will release sometime next year for PC. It’s said to launch in early access sometime early 2020. You can go to the game’s website, through here, to sign up for it.
