You would think we're joking but Beyond Gaming Industries has the proof.

Beyond Gaming Industries has launched a Kickstarter for what may either be the coolest or oddest thing we’ve ever seen – the System Integrated Dock or S.I.D. which serves to protect your Xbox One or PS4 while converting it into a walking tank. Seriously, check out the screen above.

The S.I.D. isn’t all show though – it comes with a built-in cooling fans, interchangeable parts, an under glow LED and light-up panel, USB charging docks and of course, protective armour. The joints on the tank can be articulated and you can even fit a custom nameplate to this behemoth.

Beyond Gaming is currently asking for $155,000 to kick-start the S.I.D. with roughly 34 days to go. It’s bizarre but honestly, there are less cooler ways to protect your console. Plus it’s an actual moving tank. Who wouldn’t allow their consoles the luxury of mobility when Skynet eventually makes them sentient? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
