Developer Triple Espresso has unveiled a new football management sim, Copa City. The game was announced during the PC Gaming Show with a trailer, which you can check out below.

Copa City will feature real-world football teams, with the trailer showing the likes of Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and Flamengo. As per the developers, three more teams that will be announced later.

The studio behind the game, Triple Espresso, has described it as the “first football tycoon”. One of the game’s biggest selling points is that it will feature three real-world cities, all of which will be recognisable thanks to their various landmarks. The first of these cities was revealed in the trailer to be Warsaw, Poland.

Rather than putting players in charge of a team, however, Copa City instead tasks them with organising football events on the city’s behalf, which will entail managing crowds and traffic, fan zone experiences, and more. In terms of game modes, Copa City will have a single-player campaign mode, a challenge mode, and a “ranked single match” mode.

Copa City doesn’t yet have a release date aside from a 2025 release window. The game will be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
