Developer btf and publisher ByteRockers’ Games have unveiled a new side-scrolling platforming game – Constance. The game was announced with a trailer during the Future Game Show Summer Showcase, and gives us a look at quite a bit of the title’s gameplay. Check it out below.

The core premise of Constance revolves around the player being able to turn themselves into paint. This gives them access to quite a few ways to get around the title’s challenging obstacle course-styled levels. The player is also equipped with a giant paint brush that can be used in not only taking on enemies, but also bouncing off various obstacles in the world as well.

Constance also offers a fair bit of accessibility in how it handles the player’s death. If a player is to die, they get the choice to either persevere and keep trying the challenge, or to respawn at a safe spot to then try their luck in other parts of the world.

Constance doesn’t yet have a solid release date aside from a Q4 2025 window. The Steam page for the title also features a demo that players can try out.
