Metal Gear Solid was a cool game, but Meryl gave it a much need softer side. Even if the film manages to capture half the bad-assery of the Snake we know and love, Meryl will still need to bring out his more human side. Considering her experience in sappy romances like The Notebook and The Time Traveller's Wife, Rachel McAdams sounds about right. As long as it doesn't get too sappy.
