crash bandicoot 4 it's about time

Next month, we’ll be getting quite the blast from the past when Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time releases. The game will be the first original title in the series in many years, and has lots of familiar things for fans as well as new things, such as a host of playable characters. The nostalgia is strong with this one for sure, and so too is a very specific advertisement.

If you’re old enough to remember Crash’s heyday, you probably remember the crazy live action trailers the series had. For that, we got something of a throwback to that time with a Japanese live action trailer. There is both a short and long version called “Crash Bannjikyuusu.” It’s a callback to the original Japanese theme song for the first title, which was originally made just for those commercials but would eventually be put in the Japanese version of the sequel. Check both out below.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will release on October 2nd for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For those who preorder digitally, there will also be a demo on September 16th, which you read more about through here.
